Egyptologist
I am an Egyptologist whose research focuses on diachronic change in the Egyptian language, the Old Kingdom, the development of early writing, and the relationship between Egyptian and the other Afro-Asiatic languages.
I received my PhD from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at the University of Chicago in 2020 and my BA in Linguistics from Brown University in 2012.
